How long does the service last?
About an hour.
Is there a dress code?
We have no special dress code (skirt or pants, head covering or not, long or short sleeves, etc.). But the Bible asks that we dress with modesty and decency (1 Timothy 2:9-10), appropriately for our gender (1 Corinthians 11:2-16), and in a way that does not draw attention to ourselves (Isaiah 6:2). Simply put, we ask that all dress in a way that recognizes the presence of the Mighty God in our midst (Hebrews 12:28).
Will I have to participate?
Only as you are comfortable doing. We realize that you may not be familiar with our order of service or our hymn tunes. You are welcome to join in as you are able or to simply observe.
Am I expected to give money?
No. Those who are members of Calvary regularly give offerings to express their thanksgiving to God and to support our congregation. But we do not expect you to give a gift. We understand that you may want to learn more about our congregation before making contributions. That is fine by us. You may give if you desire, but are not obligated to do so.
Will I have to commit to anything?
No. We understand that you need time to evaluate and make decisions.
